Texas Muddin
You guys from FTE, you are welcome to be on this forum, but if all you are going to do is come on here and stir up trouble, and issue insults, you are not welcome. We have enough of that from some of our regulars. Please tone it down.

Well from what I can remember I've gone through 4 or 5 half shafts, Hub assemblys bc fords design for my style trucks is a pos, bent upper control arms and tie rods, gone through several upper and lower ball joints, some minor body damage and I can't remember what else but again this is to the IFS design on these trucks. This is why I should have gone SAS a long time ago but for trail riding I think a jeep is better for it due to how much smaller and lighter they are and the amount of parts out there to build em. Plus I need a decent looking daily driver haha
i've already given enough info on it, so start with the insults
3'' body lift
6'' susp. lift
38'' swamper sx's on 16.5x12 589's
3.55's open/open
460/zf5spd.
i would've never insulted anyone on this site if it weren't for this ridiculous comment, and if you can't see why it makes no sense, you probably don't wheel too hard

tires make up for a lot of that. i pull a ton of people out of ditches all winter long and the majority of my wheeling is done then. and between brake and clutch control and skilled use of the throttle you can make open diffs work good enough to get you by. mud is a different story. if there isn't a hard bottom in it, and i don't have enough momentum it's all over. i've had a lot of expensive problems and mistakes in my life since owning this truck, so it always gets pushed aside. i've had gears for it for a while, just never installed them, kept having money issues. truck is gone this week though, grew tired of it and want a new toy
half shafts are part of the game.
The rest, especially bj's are fixed by an sas....
The larger tires put more force on ball joints.
Its a fact, you simply can not argue with physics sorry.
Even as a DD the larger tires wreak havoc on ball joints, i am on my 6th set on my truck in only 2.5 years.
i had 36's and have 37's now...
I still think your truck would benifit from an sas, but then again im on the fence.
You dont need the sas so keep the ifs, thats just one more axle for the people who do need them!

With that said, im an a-hole and wont sugar coat ..
So, im sure you will be getting some complaints about me.
I apologize in advance.

didnt know they were turned off, ill fix that though.
i did notice that the language filter here just does a complete edit.
I dont usually intend to " go around " the language filter, its just habit now.
Being as its a habit i dont see it end well...
If its that big of a problem admin can add any word they please to the language filter with very little trouble. So that can be fixed.

My bad, I forgot that you have to be here 60 days before they are turned on. You have the required posts, just not the time.
