get a few guys with shovels and start digging lol. then after you do that for a little the backhoe would be your best bet as long as its 4wd. even if he got that stuck he could work it out with the bucket

The backhoe got me out with about 30 feet of chain after around a half hour. I'll put up the pics I took.

Yea everythings pretty much ok but I scratched my new wheels up really bad. Both wheels on the right side got chipped up on every spoke in the same spot to the point where the black finish came off.

You can create your own bomb proof anchor by using simple items. I'd get 4 stakes, 3 short sections of rope, and 1 come-a-long. Place the stakes in the ground in line with your truck heading away, with about 2 feet between stakes. Each stake should be about 2/3's in the gound and tilting away from your truck at about 45 degrees. Tie the top of each to the bottom of the next one in line. The come-a-long is attached to the first stake in line, and start pulling. If you find that the stakes come out of the ground or move in anyway, add another one. We use this system for rescue all the time in the Fire Department when we cannot get another truck, or tree, or other bomb proof anchor.

Not to hijack but this is interesting!! What kind of stakes (wood or metal) and what size (diameter and length)? When you say tie the rope to the top of one stake and run it to the next one, you are attaching that at the lowest part of the stake still above ground, right?

Thanks,
