Pillar Light

Im looking to get a pillar like, such as the ones law enforcement use, for my truck. I would like it for all around usage but it would be really great for special occasions I have gotteninto lately. SO Im looking for a place online to order one of these lights.
Can anyone help?

Those cheap lights don't do anything compared to something like this.

GO Light HID

You can also get the regular go light, non hid, for about 250 w/ remote control good to 100' or so. The remote makes it much easier to use when out of the vehicle, they magnate mount and will handle speeds in excess of 85 mph without issue.

The pillar light is brighter than my HID headlights. It's a focused beam of course, but I wouldn't call it cheap. It's got a very solid feel to it.

UnityUSA.com. They also sell HID versions.

Go Light claims a light distance of 2800 feet, meaning at 2800 feet you can read a book clearly at night. I can tell you that my go light goes farther and clearer then 2 spot lights on the local police cars, as to how I know I claim no knowledge.

all I am saying is this light is blindingly bright at night. I can't imagine the go-light in that case.

I love my golight. I have 2 wireless remotes for it one that I can mount and the other pocket. It rotates like 390 degrees and points nearly straight up and as close as you can get to straight down. And the range is way way out there. More than I can see but if I was into spot lighting then oh yea good stuff. I'm probably going to move it or get a riser for it because it don't get very close to the truck. It would be nice to have flood light version. Mine isn't the HID version. HID is way over priced and really I can't see any need for anything brighter.

yes if you pay retail the HID is expensive but our cost is only slightly higher then retail on the regular (we buy about 30 to 45 a year or more). you can also get flood and spot on the GO LIGHT. you would be amazed at the difference in clarity of the HID vs the standard unit. It does make a difference if your a linesman or looking for somthing a good ways away. Nice setup I'd show ya mine but it's on a chevy

Yea I noticed when I got a email back from one manufacture telling me the could sell me the HID offroad lights at dealer price as a sponsor. They retailed for around $800 per light. They offered to sell them to me for half that. Well we all know the mark up is always 100% once they hit the store shelves so really they aren't making me any big deal. Seller wants to make a huge profit and so does the manufacture. Now If they really wanted to help me out they would of offered them to me at actual cost. Which I would bet is well under $200. Seriously a basalt and bulb from china isn't that much as we know match up reflector and housing and wham light.

Anyways, on a note actually somewhat pertaining to the thread. I found a company called magnalight.com that sells the Go-Light and a flood light conversion kit or just buy the floodlight version. I bought the riser and it should be here in a few days.

Cost is over 200 I will tell you that much on the HID with true GO LIGHT HID guts. There are different quality ballasts out there, trust me, the ballast you buy on the HID kits for trucks is much lower quality then that being used in the high end OEM HID lights used by BMW, Mercedes, even Acura.

what it is you are talking about we call spot lights, and they are bad *** when you need them.got 1 on my other truck but it came original.but if you look on ebay-motors you will find tons of them. you can even choose between halogin or hid the halogin are bright but almost yellow more white but almost.the HID's are very clear and brighter for sure and if you look into the light of the hid's you shortly blinded, and the halogin you'll see a few spots.
