if they destroyed a 9,000 lb winch and it took a 16,000 lb winch to get him out, i dont think 33" or 35" mud terrains were gonna get him thru that. and he said the photo was after he was pulled halfway thru so maybe at that point MT's woulda helped but we don't know how bad the spot he got stuck was and my guess is it was pretty bad if they had to leave the truck

Ya the photos are pretty much the aftermath of the whole river part. You couldnt see my tries when I was really stuck and I had to crawl out of the window to get out of the truck..

And yes I am in dyer need of some Mud Terrains and new gears.Money is just really tight for me right now with college and just paying two 300 dollar tickets.

By this summer I am getting some sort of 20s and then 38 inch mud terrains..The gears will come sometime in between that..But ya guys it really blows to know that you left your baby stuck overnight in a river in the back of a neighborhood. Especially since when I pulled up the next day their where cops sitting there by my truck trying to write me a ticket..

But yell it was all fun but the clean up has been a sure B!T** I already went to a Pay and Spray and spent like 13 dollars in quarters trying to get the thick stuff off, but now I need to give it a good soaping

By the way the only thing I was mainly worried about was the HID ballasts being submerged in the mud for so long, but the DDM Tuning Ballast held up great for being fully emerged for 2 days and they still work flawlessly.

And no sir 33s or 35 inch mud terrains would not have done anything to get me out..I was laying on frame which was the real reason I was stuck..My slick All-Terrains spinning was just the icing on the cake.

An old K10 blazer on 44 inch super swampers and huge detroit axles got stuck tying to get back to were I was to pull me out..The only thing that saved my but was a winch pulling me from 125 feet away.

I'm telling you guys I feel that a really good investment if your going to be an idiot and do what I tried to do is to get a winch..Those things really do save your AZZ.

The other things to learn, a 9k winch on our trucks burns up. Period.

Go with minimum of 12k, but better off with the 16+

That is a very trie statement if you can afford it.. The 9,000 pound winch was on my buddies chevy with a road armor bumber. His truck is on 40s and 22 inch rims. I guess you could say that the winch is way underpowered.. Especially since the thing was basically having to pull two lifted trucks

As of about 20 minutes ago my truck looks pretty dang clean for being completely covered in mud for 2 whole days..The only thing is their is still a little mud up underneath in some areas, but i know that it will fall and come out under time.

I never understood putting 20 inch or 22 inch rims or anything around that big on a truck that your going to take off road...waste of money IMO...spend that somewhere else...

you and your buddy on 44's need to learn how to mud and offroad....when you get stuck you dont keep digging , you dont floor it til your layin on the frame thats retarded if you cant move forwards or backwards get off the gas and let somone pull you out, ive been stuck a few time and if i cant move i stop cuz i dont feel like yanking and pullin hard as hell to get my truck unstuck, if i dont move i get out and toss the strap to the nearest truck and the pull me out...ive never burried it to the frame thats actually impossible for me,
