Didn't read every post...

BUT

you sure the tire has a hole in it ? and its not just some mud/rocks stuck in between the bead. That will leak air and give ya a flat. most common when muddin

Since im not regearing i cant go that big but the 295/75/16 look good probably get BFG TA KO i want somthing more aggresive but dont know what else is fairly good on/ offroad

Hey man im running 36's on stock 3:55 gears and a 4.2L.

you could easily turn a set of 34x9x16" super swamper tsl's. and did i mention you wont have to worry about getting stuck! if you got stuck with that combo you probably would get stuck with any combo! If you really plan to wheel it then you will need a MT

and from what i know i dont think there is a 295/75/16 and if you do find a tire in that size it will be a 33.4x11.6 i still vote for the narrow swampers

I bought a set of cragar black steel wheels from summit racing for about 40 dollars a rim and some firestone 33 by 11.5 mud terrains for 615 mounted and balanced for my old 97 f150. granted, the farm tax exemption helped as well as the tire place being the largest firestone distributor in NE, but you can get what you want for under 1k if you do your research.

my buddy had a set got a wopping 10k out of them and they were feathered more than a bird.

his didnt do crap in mud. He said they where good in rocks (not sure where he found rocks around here)

they road like absolute crap on the road. they were radials and they would flat spot overnight sitting in grass! never have like them since i wheeled with him.

My ranger with Maxxis Buckshots out performed him 10 to 1. Ive read nothing good about the tires either!

eh? my bros 89 ranger sits weeks at a time then winds up down the road, nice and smooth considering how the truck rode before with BFG muds.

i thought they were more of a bias-ply - composite belting not steel or such.

i just cant figure out if my blower would whine over the roar of my tires... lol!

Haha you could always fill in the silencer holes (if thats what they are called) in the blower.

But my TSL's are LOUD not as loud. But remeber the tire roar is only on the street so you will still hear that whine when you are offroading.

But who knows my buddy might not have been calculating miles right and he might not have rotated them either. He's the only personal expierence that i have ever had with the tire. Ive read alot of reviews and its kinda mixed.

Theres only one way to tell how they will do on the F150 GET A SET. im geussing you are planning on a Body Lift?

Old thread there hoss

but at the OP's defense, I dont think he meant or said that he wanted his dad to pay for the tires (i didnt reread though everything though)

The only reason he was thinking of a story to tell his dad was so he didnt get into trouble for offroading!
