Mudding no, but offroading is quite nice if you stick to some trails with a little bit of mud on them and a just have fun with it. Sinking the truck and having to clean that all up just isn't that much fun. Plus going mudding you are more prone to breaking stuff.

yes mud killed my 96 ranger! paint and all but that was back when i was a stupid 16 year old! haha id leave the mud on that truck till it rained!

if you want to go though deep mud get a (beater bronco or sami) much cheaper to repair!

stick to trails with the f150 and change your fluids and wash her after that!

i can relate to the horn thing lol. Every time it rains or I go through the big puddles it changes pitch.

No you're not going to hurt anything. Just wash your truck thoroughly right after you're done wheeling.

Wash it as soon as possible. Don't forget the engine compartment, stay away from electrical components, and the under side of the truck. There are nooks and crannies under your truck that will hold the mud and you will not see it. Dry mud is hygroscopic, a moisture magnet. It will suck up all and any moisture and rust any exposed surfaces.

Yea I love muddin, when I'm in my Bronco, but I have taken my F-150 out a few times. They key, like others said, is to wash thoroughly.

On a side note:

Dry mud is hygroscopic
We just learned this in Chemistry.

Thank you and the tires were $940.00 mounted and balanced. I bought them at a local shop here in Chattanooga, TN.

I go mudding all the time, get my truck covered, then spend 5-6 hours the next day cleaning up. You can always apply coats of wax and other protectants before hand (i tend to do it before... and after. overkill !)

Kills the paint ? Well mine is an 04, and I would put it up against any of the newer 08's paint jobs ! Mine has a shine better then new !

If your gunna go mudding, make sure you spend the time cleaning.

That's some of the best advice out there.

I spent a couple of hours wheeling and mudding yesterday, and 5-6 hours cleaning up afterwards.
