Kills the paint ? Well mine is an 04, and I would put it up against any of the newer 08's paint jobs ! Mine has a shine better then new !

If your gunna go mudding, make sure you spend the time cleaning.
Agree'd an all counts!

During hunting season my truck gets filthy, absolutely trashed. After a day of hunting in the weather, the truck will have mud falling off the under carriage in chunks that are indescribably large. But if you clean it every time, it will be fine and look great, and use wax like MT said.

I just detailed mine this past weekend, and the paint on my 2004 with 82k miles looks just as fresh as my dad's 08 with 2k miles...
