Reason I don't like the 500's is they are really orange and pin point spots. I have to aim them a mile down the road to get any area illuminated. Even then they are really underpowered compared to my Blackmagics. I just see a orange blob out there on the edge of a sea of white HID light. The 500's are not a light system I would want to run solo.
The ones I have are really bright and white, but then the only other lights on my Ranger are the stock 55w sealed beam headlights, so it isn't like they have much for compitition. I mainly got them to enhance my high beams when nobody else is around on the highway for deer avoidance, and the increased range can only help in that dept.

Looking good! What till you hit that power switch and drool! You'll be avoiding the main roads just to use them like I do.

IRS came through today.

Ordering the black Carr rota lightbar and 5 more KC 150w for the roof today.

Thought maybe I can hire myself out at the airport here.
Turn the lights on and do doughnuts!

I'm sure most people think this is goofy. But, a 4x4 with a bunch of lights is something I've wanted since I was a little kid. Now I'm finaly going to have it!

I don't think that sounds goofy at all... in fact, as a boy all I wanted was a big lifted truck with mud tires and lights (just like my Uncle's). I am half way there.

I don't recall but are you running a stock alternator? You will need more power to run all those lights at one. I have a 300A alternator and I have to rev my engine a bit while parked to get full bright out of this many lights. While driving I'm fine since the engine is above idle. If your running stock you might kill the truck trying to flip on 65A of lights on a 110 amp alternator
