I really like me Hella 500s. They are only about $70 for the two driving light kit. They are as bright as I ever need for driving trails to huning spots at night.

Best lights I ever had were my Hella Rallye 4000 Euro. They were mounted on the cap of my 97. It is a big light but it delivers. Any light however powerful needs to be properly aimed.

My vote would be for some Hella 500's as mention before. I had a pair on my Jeep for hitting the logging roads at night and just one pair worked great for what i needed!

I got two sets (one set for each truck) of Hella 500FF's at Wal-Mart for $30 a set. I think they were marked wrong though, every other Wal-Mart has them marked for $60 a set. I like the ones on my Ranger, they are nice and bright. I still need to hook up the high beam activation part to get the ones working on my F-150, it being 10-15 degrees for a high slightly hinders that effort, since due to the cold I can't work in my dad's shop after hours like I used to until it warms up a little. They come with covers and all the wiring/switches/relays you need to make them work.

I did notice the set on my Ranger has little delfecter lines in the lenses, the ones on my F-150 are perfectly clear, so there are different kinds of them.

Not trying to jack the thread, just a quick question and didn't feel worthy of makin my own thread for it:

Any of yall running the relay that allows you to flip your high beams on and keep the lows on ? Also is there anything out there that would allow me to run all my stock lights (high beams, low beams, and fogs) ? Or is that asking my system to do a little too much ? ? Thanks for the help and sorry for the hijack.

How are those fogs for you? All these spots I need some floods/fogs for the sides of my roof rack.

which ones?

the KCs are awesome, they do an excellent job of lighting up the immediate area of the truck.

the tractor supply co. ones I have set up in the rear to use as reverse lights when needed, lighting for trailers or off-road recovery, or lighting up tailgaters.
