I just got back from doing a little drifthopping the road I went down went from bare gravel to a 2 ft drift in about 25ft I drove through it, but I was spinning all 4 tires. I was wondering when are you supposed to use 4 low or 4 hi I have never really been clear on the difference when it comes to using them. Example I was using 4hi in the snow drifts but should I have been in 4lo?

you want to use 4hi because you can't go very fast in 4 low and if you get goin to slow in the real big drifts you'll get stuck

You shouldn't use a bad belt.

You can pick one up from your parts place for like $50. Or better yet, get a Gatorback Belt. It won't come off next time.

The lower the gears the more the weels spin. Spining weels can dig you way down then you are stuck. Snow is hard to drive in at times. Sometimes it's like sand sometimes it's wet. Wet snow is the easyst to drive in. The hardst is when it's crusty on top and like suger underneath the crust. I know when I go out to check my trap line it can be one thing on day 1 and anouther on day 2. Have fun.
