Did some unexpected mudding.....with pic now

Hey guys, Its been raining for last couple days here in Kansas and I was on my way home from work on a dirt road when a car came from the other direction so i pulled over to the side so the lady could pass. I was in two wheel drive at this point. I started to go and the truck starts to slide down into the ditch, so i kick into 4Hi and try to slowly go back to the center, no luck down i went....they just dug out the ditch and rounded the road for drainage so its pretty much a one lane dirt road....So i get some speed going and its not wanting to drive out of the ditch so i back up and try again and mind you i just got the truck(2004 New body Screw FX4) a couple of months ago it has stock almost bald tires on it so that concerned me and with the fact i have never really mudded before this in my life...Needless to say i floored it and finally it pulled out after about 50 ft of sliding around. So there is my little story...i know its not to exciting and i'll post some pics tom...nothing really impressive.

I do have plans on putting a lift on either 4" Rancho or 6" fabtech with 35's and this might make me get them a little sooner....

well some good and bad news.....I had 2 flats today sucked so bad because i was planning on ordering 35's, i just ordered my AS spacer but i needed tires today ......so i had to buy some stock size tires (needed all 4 stock tires were BALD)....my options were very limited but i did end up getting some decent tires. I picked up Mickey Thompson ATZ and for the price the perform pretty good. I'm getting ready to go and and play in some mud and snow. Just sucks that i had to buy them when i wanted 35's....maybe i'll just start doing some other mods (exhaust and intake..etc) and save up for my 6" lift

does suck about the tires, but good choice in tire, I have heard nothing but good things about them. The snow must be nice, we were supposed to get
6"-9" between late last night and midnight tonight and it has done nothing but rain, really sucks

The tires performed awesome!!!! Through the snow and on ice they are really good. Here are some picks of the snow and mud we went through today some of the drifts were like 3.5' deep...These are some farm roads that alot of people go wheeling down its right outside the town of clearwater, ks...can't wait for summer!!!
