Yup I have spent my time playing out there. Bring car ramps to the car wash and run your truck up on them so you can really pressure wash the underside. As soon as you get all that sand and mud out if should quiet down. Check your wheel bearings soon...

ive been out to crystal beach before. its pretty fun out there. ive never had a problem with the 2wd. i actually had to pull out a chevy the last time i was there. he was burried almost as bad as you

yeah last time i was there an old dodge got stuck but didnt want my help cause i had a ford. didnt bug me though he was the one buried in the sand not me lol

Actually, "meaty" tires like mud tires are the worst thing for soft sand. In soft sand, you need floatation with minimal tread voids. At the beach he's at, you usually have hard packed sand, but apparently, they were there right after/during a storm.

If you're using a 10K strap to "snap" a truck with, you're asking for trouble. The strap you have is probably a "Tow" strap and not a snap-strap. The lowest rating for a snap-strap i've seen is 20K lbs. If you have some old firehouse that's not torn, they work good too
