does offroading scratch your truck??
the mud wont scratch it unless you roll your window down or let it build up on your windshield and turn on the wipers then it will scratch the glass but if you spray all the mud off before washing it and you make sure there are no granules of dirt when you wash then from my mudding experience you wont scratch the paint, i would be worried about brush and branches on the trail that is a good way to get some free pinstriping, good luck

No as long as you wax it atleast once a year I have never had mud to scratch the paint. Tree limbs are another story though.

Katrina was worse than all of the narrow trails I've been down combined.
A couple of days after I tried to get to my house from the inlaws where we rode it out. All of the trails cleared were barely wide enough to force your truck through. So I ended up ripping the side marker light (the one next to the headlight) completly out, and messed up the fender trim plus a few scratches. This was before the interstate was cleared. Just bunch of us rednecks cleared out the backroads so we could get place to place till the heavy equipment could get there. Many sections it was easier to go through the ditches than move the trees. Only had to pull out one dodge though.
It is pretty amazing to be on the overpass and look down the interstate and see nothing but trees across it. I live about 50 miles north of the coast. When you get to the coast it is unbelievable. Driving around and not knowing where you are because there are no land markers that you are used to seeing.
The best thing about a white truck is that it doesn't show scratches too bad.
