Yes it is a v6 and no I don't have 4wd but as you can see from the pics, you don't need it for where we were. Too bad it was a dry month. Last good rain we had was from Katrina in late August/early September.

Another LA member! What part are you from? I don't have the gears or lockers yet but as soon as I sell my car later this week, I am bringing it to this place called Steve's 4wd for lockers and 4.56 or 4.88 gears. Like I said, I didn't get much of a chance to see what it can do because it was pretty dry there. I don't suggest getting the tires and lift until you do the gears because of gas mileage. The truck is a v6 and I am getting about 10 mpg maybe 12 mpg on a good day with this setup. Right now I have 3" spindles and blocks and a 3" body on those 315/76r16 and I have some rubbing lock to lock and when I go up a bump on an angle. I am hoping to get a 2" leveling kit so I can get rid of some of this rub.

I live in Gonzales. Where do you live? As of right now all I have done to the truck is a 1.5" leveling kit and the bodylift. I am planning on getting a 3" spindell lift from dosch tech and 315/75/16 remington mud brutes. I think instead of the 3" block i will go with 4" b/c of the leveling kit. Where is Steves 4wd.

In the Harahan/Kenner/Metairie area. Is there any places around you to go do some muddin? Like it says on my cardomain page, the core of engineers was out there to "protect their program." As if they don't have better things to do *cough* 17th St. Canal *cough* levees. My cousin and uncle are planning a trip to Red Creek in Mississippi in a few weeks if you wanna meet up. If not, we don't mind driving an hour or so to come do some riding.

I hate to say but there are no places around here. Whick sucks. I would like to go to red creek but, not until I get my truck finished the way I want it. Maybe some other time. The company I work for is located in Gretna. Its called Jefferson Sprinkler Inc. Have you heard of it?

Nope. Before we go I at least want to get my gears done, possibly LSD or lockers depending on the price.

If you don't mind when you get your gears done can you tell me what they charged. I need to check around here and see what prices are.

Thanks a lot. Even though it's a 6, I still want to head out to Red Creek Offroad in Mississippi. I hear it's a pretty badass place but still lots of fun ever for a sixer.
