Ahhhh lovely. Look, I didn't say a word to you guys, and here you go wanting to **** on my truck. I understand that, you guys are probably under 20, and that's ok. I love my truck, all my friends like my truck, and I have a lot of friends. My hot blonde girlfriend likes my truck, and many others like my truck. You are one of the very few to make a negative comment about it. I try very hard to take care and make my truck look really good, and I believe that I have done that. I have the money to do that, believe me. I could go out and get me a trail vehicle that ends up on those 4 Wheeler videos that you see in the 4 Wheel Parts wating area. I could do that, rock crawl worthy, and all that stuff. But that is not what I want. All those big trucks, for example huge Z-71's that you see lifted, with teens driving them, they hardly go off-road, and that's fine, maybe people just wanna look real good goin down the road. I know I do, and I do look really damn good drivin down the road, and turned more heads with this truck than any Yota could, that is a fact. It's pretty much a show truck. I have won many truck shows, including some "big" shows, like a first place at the "Texas Heatwave" in Austin. Over 2000 car's and truck's at that one, and I have the 5 foot trophys to prove that. KC Hilites is givin me a great deal, and I am very well known around that place, very. I even have a thing goin with Zaino wax products at the moment, possibly be a distributor. I can't go anywhere, and I mean anywhere without somebody tellin me I have a sweet truck, it is truly amazing the possitive comments I get. I couldn't ask for anything more, I have a great life, and a great truck. So make all the comments you want, I don't care, I have a damn nice truck, that can blind anybodys ***, and a truck that can turn heads, win shows, 4 wheel, and make me happy. So go ahead with what you say...kinda makes me happy though, more attention for me and my truck. I have no problem with big time trail 4x's, but usally, that is all that person has, where I have a good lookin NEW truck, that can be drivin down the road every single day. If my truck wasn't nice, then I guess a whole bunch of people on this board wouldn't have gotten some KC's on their truck. Just ask some of them. I have never had a person say anything negative to my face about my truck....Keep on truckin, and remember, this is a F150 board, every time you open your mouth, you are one step closer to bein off this forum....just be nice to people on here...or maybe you can't, I really don't care.

Maybe I did come off a bit strong but it is extremely annoying when people feel the need to not only make a negative comment about someones truck. Let alone start an entirely new thread dedicated to their opinion. Is everyone entitled to there own opinion? Yes but that doesn't mean it is always appropriate to express it. My comments were directed at dpenny because of his actions not his personal preference in vehicles. If Dpenny wanted to make fun of Mudders or anyone elses on this boards truck then he should do it in private. I'm sure that dpenny and anyone else on the toyota boards would not like it if all of us were going to their site and making fun of their trucks. The F150 community is very protective of its members so of course we are going to stick up for one of our members and I would expect the same on the toyota boards for their members.

 

Ohio - you didn't come off too strong. You are 100% right - we don't go to other truck sites & cause trouble & I highly resent them coming here to start in. I happen to have an INTENSE dislike of Chevy/GMC trucks. I wouldn't go to their site for ANY reason. Why don't they just stay where they belong?

Once again I am disappointed with the way the conversations are going in a 4X4 thread.

Mudder, do what you want with your truck. It's yours, you pay for it, you like it, that's fine.

Dpenny, if you aren't trying to start crap on the board, keep in mind that it is hard enough face to face to be jokingly sarcastic with someone and the electronic mediyum makes it near to impossible. You like Toyotas, that's obvious and they make some good vehicles. But they aren't the end all be all just as anyone elses trucks cannot be. If you are trying to start crap, well goody for you, you succeeded. Feel better?

In general, one should never trash someone elses ride. You don't know what their situation is or the things they have to deal with. It's just plain dumb. And the people who get on these boards just to start crap need to what people (say it together), "GET A LIFE".

Now see, you even got to me and cause me to waste a whole bunch of time responding to crap. But since I already typed most of it before I realized what a waste, I might as well throw good money after bad and finish.

1) Unless the camera you used to take that picture of your truck is all screwed up, you are in no place to be telling anybody how crappy their truck is.
2) Obvously our F150s cannot do what you portrayed in those pictures! Us that have posted do not have huge lifts, or a jeep wrangler size wheelbase, F150s are simply not rock crawlers.
3) Mudders truck is awesome, he is a awesome guy, i wish i was like him, he is living a great life right now. I hope he doesent leave F150online because he is one of the original members here, although i dont know him personally, just by the lights and the handle...he seems like a cool guy.
4) D*****- Dont talk about how crappy our trucks are when yours is....well extreemly crappy. So go ahead...here is my truck...say what you want about it because i know its better and so does everyone else on this site.
