Post Texas Froading?

I live in Galveston, but go to school in College Station during the fall and spring. If anyone knows of any good places for trails, let me know. I'm part of Texas A&M Off-Road and we're dying for anything in Texas. We've gone to Utah, Oklahoma, New Mexico, but hardly Texas. Thanks

Did you used to go to Fort Hood in Kileen? I heard it was the beset place to go while it was open. They are currently trying to re-open it, but the process is slow. Thanks though.

Wow. Thanks. I heard about the Gilmer thing from TAMOR, but I figured it would take years before it became up and running. That sounds like an awesome place. If only my 150 was scratch worthy.
