Post 4x4 HI or LO in Sand ??

i'm going to the sand dues this weekend
(tomarow! asked last min. style!)
do i need to put the 4x4 in hi or lo 4wheel drive?

I know about the tire pressure 13lbs.
( i go with my buggy most of the time but its broke and i still want to go!)

the trucks a V6, 5spd.

I'd go with 4 low. Many people think that 4 low will only allow them to creep along. You would be suprised, you can still move out pretty good in 4 low. Also 4 low will be much better for your transmission, in sand.

a) You got stuck in the sand and are still out there, or...

b) You're ashamed of your performance, or...

c) You just forgot to report in.

This is kinda late, but I'd vote for 4Hi in sand, especially when you're running up dunes. You need speed to get up the dunes and you can't get enough in 4Lo. I've gotten stuck in sand while in 4Lo more times than I care to admit to.

I use low range in the mountains and high range on the beach.
