Exposed power steering fluid cooler

The power steering fluid cooler on my 2004 F150 is mounted on the front frame cross member and will get smashed the first time I do any serious off road work. The factory does not make a skid plate to cover it. Before I have something made up - has anyone already solved this problem? Thanks.

I made my skidplates myself out of diamondplate. Took care of all of my vulnerabilities, including one for my oil filter(since I have the relocatiion kit on it)

ummm.......
Can you move the power steering cooler? Or is the screw holding it in place also holding the front of the truck together?

Sorry, I ate an extra helping of smartaleck flakes this morning.

Your flakes work for me - I didn't think about relocation because Ford must know the best place to locate the cooler - yeah - right where it will be destroyed. I'll look at moving before covering - Thanks Rocky - do you fly?
