trouble with hills

Wondering if anyone else has had any experience or insight on this.

I've got an automatic 2000 F150 4x4 with under 90 000 km (yes I'm a canuck!)

Twice now when driving down-hill in High Range my engine has stalled in 1st gear - not ideal!! In 2nd and any other time it's fine.

any advice??

doesnt sound right

hey dharma,

my 2001 4x4 has about 94k miles(descendent of canuck and i've not had any such experience despite lots of ups & downs.

my suggestion would be a service at ford?
i did have some plugs die at about 70k miles,
but that was a clear chugging problem,
yours seems unique.

good luck,jackc...
