An Interesting Article

Looks like we're in for some major changes. Cross your fingers and support any of your local organizations that confront issues like this.

Thats all a bunch of BS! We offroaders are not doing that much damage to the land. But thats those ''TreeHuggers'' for you.

I hate people. So there are a ton of extra trails... its not as if the integrity of the forrest is in danger - there is still a HUGE amount of land doing just fine. It's not like the riders are going to trample the entire forrest into one huge parking lots w/ trees. Folks want a challenge and to roam. Those pansy-like flat lame trails that are 'authorized' are about as exciting as clipping my toenails. Give us more trails of varying skill levels and I think you'll find most folks will be happy. Stupid tree huggers, they are going to ruin everything.

The only good solution is to create Privately owned off-road parks like I've heard about. Then we can drive our gas-guzzlers 500 miles to go four-wheeling. I bet the environmentalists would love that too.

That's one reason why I posted in this forum a long long time ago that we should change the name of this forum, because the term `off-roading` implies that we are rampant and just go driving over trees, and not in designated 4 wheel drive areas.

Do you know how much oxygen those 2 trees produce? I think they need to worry about the rainforest a bit more than your two trees.

Yeah, but that's unintentional, it's not like we're tearing out through the wilderness laying waste to everything green like is implied. Accidents happen, that's a given, but you can wreck off the side of the road and hit a tree.
