Question Need torque for 9.75" bearing caps

Hey guys.......the chilton mannual doesn't have the torque specs for the rear differential side bearing caps....on a 8.8" it is 80 to 90ft/lbs.....What is it on the 9.75" rear???

Thanks a million!

WOW!

Mine is only torqued to 75ft/lbs!

No wonder I am hearing a strange clunking from the rear on cornering and bumps!

I hope I didn't screw it up!

Where did you get that number?

I just looked at ring amd pinion.com and there spec chart says 80ft/lbs?!?

Is your number for the 9.75"??? Is it from the factory mannual?

Thanks
