4wd vibration?
Well the snow is here and I have discovered two things. One I already knew, I need new tires. But the second is my question.
When the front hubs are locked in should you feel vibration? This is my first winter with this truck. When I engaged the 4wd (autolocking hubs) I noticed an immediate humming noise , not real loud a dull sound, and vibration in the floor board. It is working correctly but it seems that something is wrong.
I have the extended warranty but would like some insight before I take it in.
This vibration continues even if the transfer case is put back into 2wd. It continues until I disengage the hubs.
