Thumbs up Attn All Clunkers

A new TSB has recently been issued that addresses the "downshift clunk" many of us have been following on this board. The TSB # is 99-12-4 and it applies to all 1999 f150's with the 5.4L 4r70w engine trans combination.
This TSB call's for a reprogramming of the PCM to a new calibration code. Unfortunately,
it does not include the 4.6L engine (which I have, bummer). Hope this helps some of you out there. Clunk on down to your dealer and find out. Good Luck!

I've got a '99 XLT,4.6 clunkin 4r70w
x-cab,SB,factory side bars and mudflaps, bugflectorII,K&N,soon to be Pace Edwards Roll Top cover, maybe superchip if it will get rid of this clunk.
