Red face wierd sound from the front

I've been experiencing a strange humming sound coming from the left front end of my truck. It happens when I'm turning to the left although it has happened a couple of times while turning right and it doesn't happen all the time, probably 3-4 times a day. The sound is a loud hum that last about 1-2 seconds. I thought that it might be the bearings but I'm not sure. I'm sure it will be fun trying to get the dealership to find and take care of this under the warranty. Anybody have any input on this? Thanks in advance! -ZRracer

well, if it was a loud squeak then I would tell you its the pitman arm. but a hum?? maybe powersteering pump. Does the hum occur when you have the steering wheel turned as tight as possible or with just slight turning?

The hum occurs when the wheel is slightly turned. Usually when I'm going around a 30mph type of corner.
