What type of rear diff do I have?
I own a 1999 F-250 light duty, 4x4 supercab, 5.4, shortbox. I know the front is a Ford 8.8. I have 3.73 gears with a limited slip in the rear diff.
I want to find out what type of rear end I have and the number of splines on the axles for both differentials (front and rear).
Does any one know this info?

A few weeks ago I asked the same question about my 4x2, I eventually posted a chart that has info on all the different rear ends. You can get the rear end code from the sticker on the drivers side door area. I forget what the post was called where I pasted the chart in...
Well duh... mebbe I should open my eyes, ahhh it's 6am... the next message in the list where I ask, Do I have LS diff, is the one with the chart, check it out...

Thanks for your chart info. The only problem being that my truck axle code is B6 (not listed on your chart). I did manage to find out my rear axle is a Ford LS 10.25. However, I still haven't heard from anyone on the number of splines on the axles themselves???
Does anyone know where to look for this info??????
