IMO you might have warped diff cover. Then again I could be wrong.

Just make sure you use a good bead of RTV Sealant, the black stuff. Then torque all your bolts to the same specifications. I've done it on all my vehicles with out problems.
Warped cover might be a prob, just an excuse to get a new fancy one

Thumbs up

I changed my rear diff. oil a couple of months ago. I used a gasket maker called "The Right Stuff". It worked great... very easy and so far not a drop. It was a bit pricey if I remember correctly around $10.00-12.00 a can. I bought it at PepBoys. Hope this helps.......

It sounds like your talking about your pinion seal, is this right or are you indeed talking about the diff. cover. The pinion seal will be a bit trickier. However if you are having trouble with the cover and have the 12 bolt rear I had similar problems and no gasket is available, So I scanned my pan and set a file to laser cut one from sheet gasket, no problem since. If a gasket would help I'll supply you one for the cost of material + shipping.
let me know.
