Question Calling StrangeRanger, Trac-lok question...

Or anyone else who would like to give feedback, but from reading other post SR seemed pretty informed...

I have my eye on a used Traction-Lok unit that is pretty high mileage(140K). In another post quite awhile ago you mentioned repacking the clutch disks in an alternate order to achieve a higher preload. I was wondering if this could also be performed on a high mileage unit to get some extra use before spending the cash on the new clutch disks. If not anybody know of a place to pick up a rebuild kit for cheap.

Thanks for any info...

Probably not a good idea. If you're going to invest the labor, and it's not a simple job, to repack your Trac-Lok better to spend a few bucks and get new parts.

Thanks, that's kinda what I figured. Any idea what the parts will run me?
