Rear end blew out again! Which one do I buy now?

2006 F150 Lariat Supercrew. 373 limited slip. Factory lasted 60k. TracLoc about 48k. This shouldn't be happening!

About $1400 for all new clear out to axle. Which brand do I choose now?

EDIT: I thought TracLoc was a brand, but it appears that is what Ford calls limited slip, or should I call it limited slop?

I ordered through autoanything. Yukon Gear & Axle Grip Positraction, Yukon Gear & Axle Master Overhaul Bearing Kit, and Yukon Gear & Axle Ring & Pinion Gears.

About $1200 shipped.

What are you doing with it to cause blow outs? Are you racing it?

Not at all. Rarely even tow a small camp trailer. I have a sneaky suspicion when it was done last time they didn't put in a new ring and pinion gear cause it "looked" okay. Thus prob never meshed quite well.

If there was debris(metal parts) left in the axle housing, that could have caused the second failure.

True. But that was all new as well. It is what it is now. Chalk it up as a loss. Yukon will hopefully take care of me!

After all that, it was the ring and pinion and a bearing. I could have gotten by without the differential and saved $500.

Is that a clutch plate style limited slip?

Cool thanks for the info. Before getting the super crew I have now I had a 07 that I bought used. Found out after driving it off the lot about a week later it started shuddering. I did some research and the eaton is a good upgrade if you haven't seen it.

Interchangeable rear ends

Newbie here,
2004 F150 reg cab, long bed, 4X4.
9.75, Rear end noise, the wap wap sound, I'm sure it is bearings. Suggestions on the fix? What rear ends will swap out, bolt for bolt?
Thanx in advance for your inputs.

The diff I took out turned out to be okay. About 45k on it. I would sell but not sure of shipping cost.
