Past few months I've been noticing a worsening shake from the rear end when slowing down and taking off (under 15mph). I did just replace front and rear u-joints and it did not solve it, but it did get rid of the clicking I had when backing up.

I do have a lot of axle end-play on the driver side, have not checked the passenger, but I figured it's just as bad.
2001 4x4 300k miles 8.8 with 3.55 LS

Going to pull it out come next week and see what I find, going to try and tackle it myself, but may take it to a shop if I can not fix it.

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome

 

figured I would update, after having my rear end rebuilt (spider gears were worn, clutch packs non-existant, and ring gear worn too), and 3 new tires my sway has been fixed. problem was my tires were cupped and along with my rear end being on its last leg, everything combined gave me the low speed sway issues.
