Power hungry performance. I'm selling everything you'd need minus getting the actual custom tunes. Here's a link Tuner

The ONLY way you are going to get your gas mileage back is remove the lift and big tires. Period. Besides, the 2 grand you are going to spend for gears and tunes will buy a LOT of gas, and I doubt that you will get much, if any, mileage back.

Even if he does decide to take the tires off a tuner is still a good idea to increase the drivability of the pickup, IMO..

i agree, being able to adjust the shift points and get a little more power out of these trucks is definitely worth it!

That's what I have. It's the cs model so it has more features and color screen. It also programs a lot faster...

Truth. Just took off my 35" Toyos and put the stockers back on. Even with 4.56 gears and Troyer 91 tune, I got 14.5 mpg hwy with the heavy Toyos. Same exact setup with the stock tires, 18.2 mpg.

even if I got back to the 14.5 with a cold air intake and a programmer I would be happy.

Intake will not improve the mileage one bit and it's going to make it run lean unless you get custom tunes.

I've already tried explaining it.. He's set on a canned Evo and cai for some reason.

Like he said, you need custom tunes on a programmer like a gryphon cs from power hungry performance to even be safe to have a cold air intake. Good luck.
