I recently replaced a pinion seal in my wife's truck, I counted the turns taking the pinion nut off so that when I put it back on it would be right,
After I reinstalled the entire thing I not sure if I missed a count going on, or coming off, but it sounds like a droneing noise around 40-55 mph,
I'm wondering is it to tight or too loose?? Any ideas?
It was not making the noise before the seal replacement
