Slipping Feeling in driveline
I have a 1998 Ford F150 with a V-6 and 5spd and Ford 8.8 rear. I have 24000 miles and just recently I have been having a "slipping feeling" in the driveline. I believe it happens when the load on the driveline switches from deacceleration to acceration. At first I thought it was the slip yoke sticking so greased it up real well but the problem is still present. Then I though clutch but there is no slipping up hills under load and it goes into reverse just fine. If worst comes to worst I am heading to the dealer but I am hoping someone had the problem and it was easy to fix. Any help is appreciated.
