Hey guys, recently my truck started making a squeaking noise only in reverse. Ive been thinking its the brakes. But im wondering if its the u joints. But ive checked those recently and theres not play in them. If it is those how hard are they to change ??? thanks for any help, steven

More than likely it is u-joints. Just because they aren't loose yet does not mean they aren't bad.

I wouldn't waste any time changing them. Like kingfish said, you just never know. You can get one probably for around 15 to 20 bucks. Not too bad to swap out as well.
