Ok I have 2005 f150 4x4 and ythere is a loud rattleing/grinding noise cominf from the front wen I'm doing 30mph or above....I thought it was universal joints in the front driveshaft and replaced them and still the noise if I remove the front drive shaft it dosnt make the noise which I don't get cuz the front differential and transfer case is still spinning....any thoughts or help would be apreciated really annoying inside cab and need fixed

The front differential and transfer case should not be spinning in 2wd - the IWE's are at the wheels.

 

I have checked 10 trks like mine years 2004-2008 same body style and yes they all spin in 2wd
