I live in QC and paid 650$ for 4.56 Yukon gears front & rear with both master install kits shipped. paid 250$/axle for install.

Ain't that bad.

 

alright, well it looks like im going to go with motives because im on a budget. ill probably buy the gears and install kit online (i guess ebay). and then take to the parts to a shop and get them installed, that way they wont overcharge me for parts but i know the rear is a 8.8 but i would like to know what to look for in the front, i think its reverse cut or something??

Randy's Ring & Pinion has always been a good resource.....just in case you want to call them with questions. They've helped a lot of guys out on here.

Before you get the gears tho, you should go around and see what GOOD shops wanna charge for install.
Tell them you were quoted 250/axle somewhere else, see if they can do any better than that.

They sell Yukon's for cheaper than the Motive's and Genuine's. Can't beat that!

 

You can get away with the 15$ install kit for the front but for the rear you NEED the master install.

 

Yea there is 4 shops around my area that specialize in 4x4 off road stuff but ill also check other shops. But yea I was gona play it off like I got a shop that will charge me 250 and see if their gona try and beat it

 

I want some 4.30s. So do i just call him and say can you give me a better price?
