ABS Sensor

how hard is it to change ( clean) the front ABS sensors on a 2002 F-150. was told the ends become rusty and could be the cause for my ABS to malfunction with no ABS light coming on. what is needed to pull and clean the end if it can be done? a dealer wants to pull the whole front end apart to do the this job with a hefty bill.

ABS problem

If the brake pedal is pulsing when braking then it most likely is a bad ABS sensor you need somebody with a diagnostic tool to determine which one is bad then just replace that one I gave a local guy 20 bucks to plug in the tool and take a ride he told me which one it was found it on Amazon $106 bucks takes about 35 minutes total time remove brake caliper and rotor a piece of cake. Pull the front wheels off and spray brake cleaner on the sensors. The sensor is located behind the rotor close to the middle.
