Spend the extra buck and buy Yukon gears, they handled my motor better than genuine gears did.

37's and 4.88's will be a good combo, they should work out to be close to a stock ratio.

I cant remember the price but $225 sounds familiar for Yukon 8.8's and a master install kit I thought was appx $115

Check 4wheelparts for the general consensus on pricing.

you would be fine leaving the front in as long as you dont engage 4wd. right?? I am thinking about doing my rear and in a month doing the front also..

Will you be doing the install yourself? The gears for the rear are aroud $300 plus labor which is probably around another $500+. Yes, you can do only the rear for now, but make sure the drive shafts is removed.

Youll be fine doing one axle at a time just dont engage it in 4wd
