Talking DriveShaft

When under moderate acceleration, my driveshaft made a loud clicking noise. After a few days it went from clicking to sqeeking, and now there is hardly a noise at all. On the Driver side rear U-joint there is some grease leaking out. I would love some comments before taking it to the shop..Thank you!

If you get them replaced make sure they put in ones that have Zirk fittings so you can keep them grease yourself. Takes 5 min. Just keep pumping in the grease until you see it start to ooze out.

if you have time and some tools it really is an easy fix.

either way, sounds like those u-joints are shot. get it done quick. i had one start to seize in the driveshaft it was getting so hot.

did ya happen to get one you can service? they last longer if you can, and do put a few pumps in occasionally.
