Hi,

I'm trying to help out a friend of mine. She has an 02 Expedition with the 5.4L and just had a plug blow out.

Apparently it's happened before, and she had someone else fix it, and they did a really poor job. I see that the time sert kit seems to be the easiest and most reliable method for fixing this problem, but am hoping to find someone to help me out.

Are there any members in the Milwaukee area that have the time sert system and would be willing to help me out? I'd be looking to either borrow/rent the kit, or would be even happier if someone would be willing to help out or complete the repair, for a fair price of course. The truck is in West Allis currently.

Or even if someone knows of a Milwaukee area shop that uses the time sert system to make the repair with the head on, I'd appreciate a recommendation.

Every mechanic she's requested a price from has quoted $1000+, and she doesn't have that kind of money. I've had great success with my car on the Taurus Car Club forum, so thought I'd give your forum a try.

Your other option, which should be less than $1000, is contact the guys at blownoutsparkplug.com - they travel anywhere and their inserts are the absolute best.
