not sure if they have changed anything since then but i know of alot of people that did the same thing. They would have gave me the same price on 16" leaf springs.

well i went and snapped a couple pictures real quick of the front.

wheels need a little work...little rusty and paint fading...but at this point i got all the rims for 10 bucks. lol bought them for 100 with tires...sold tires for 90. so pretty good deal. haha

front view:

4" wider makes the truck look shorter now. haha

im not a fan of wheel spacers just cause i had ALOT of problems with mine. BUT why not get some for the rear to bring it back to the same width?

thanks man.

and cause i dont really care what it looks like. lol it would cost more money, and just add a weak link in the back. i dont like to use them either, but i wont be doing much...if any offroading and not much driving so i should be good for now. its just "temporary" until i save up enough to do the front axle...i am shooting for one year from now to do the axle...would be awesome if i could get it done sooner but that is doubtful. lol

most of my problems were with axle selection. The dodge front end was a horrible choice.

Then the moron i had doing most of the welding didnt know a weld from super glue. I didnt do the welding on the truck... till after it started breaking then i started redoing the welds.

But all the design problems that i ran into was stemmed from the stupid dodge front end.

Front track width looks superb! minus the spacers potential to bite you.

I'm still waiting to find enough pocket change for a 2002-2004 D60 and 10.5... Although the front's pointless because I wont be flexxin with the truck, I could get away with the IFS but I want bigger bearings for payloading.

10.5 is the sterling axle that came on the latter years of the SD trucks, fitted with disc brakes.

I chose 2002-2004 cuz the likelihood of a D60 front is much better then.

i thought the 02-04 was the D50...

And iifc you can still get the 10.25 in disc brakes aswell.

BIG difference is:

99 and newer = 8x170mm bolt pattern

older than 99 = 8x6.5 bolt pattern
