ok,,so in the spring i changed both of my Vaccuum locking hubs on my 2004 ford f150...when i put the 4 wheel drive on...i heard a tuk tuk tuk on every revolution of the tire..so i installed a solenoid like many would recommend here and still the same thing..i took it into a local mechanic here and he said that my universal joints seem to be sticking..the one for the 4 wheel drive i guess..could that be the problem with the TUK TUK TUK noise coming from the front end when i have my 4x4 engaged...i hear it mostly on the drivers side....how much do these universal joints cost if someone might know...

 

and i should say also..i only hear that noise when i have it engaged on 4 wheel drive...other than that i never hear the noise at all...
