Hit a boulder, busted my front differential cover
I have a 2002 F-150 5.4L V-8 Fx4
Long story short, I ran over a boulder, busted my front differential cover and bent the support bar for the front differential.
After I hit the boulder, my oil pressure light came on. I got under the truck and found a line that had been knocked loose. I think the line connects directly underneath the oil filter.
I have a friend of mine willing to help me put it all back together, but I need some help. Does anyone know what that oil line is and how I can get a new connector for it (oil filter side). It looks like the plastic connector was sheared off at the engine block/oil filter connection. This line connects on the underside of the engine (near the oil filter), above the front differential.
I am worried that I really messed something up. Upon investigation though, it looks to be a relatively easy fix. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
