ok guys, i was looking at the rearends between my 02 5.4 sscrew and my friends 02 4.6 screw and i've noticed some diferences and was wondering if anyone could help me understand it.

mine looks to be a beefier rearend with a diferent rearend cover then the 4.6 and i also noticed that when the tires are off the ground the rearend of the 4.6 will spin freely but when i do the same with my 5.4 it doesn't.

did they make a heavier duty f150 Screw with the 5.4 then they did with the 4.6's?

The 5.4L has a 9.75" ford read end while the 4.6 trucks only have an 8.8". If they are 4x4's the front diffs in both trucks are 8.8's
