I am looking for a spare housing for my Mustang. I am needing/wanting an 8.8 rear end.

I am new to the F150 world and learning as i go.

What rear end is in our trucks and what years have an 8.8?

I am going to be using the housing to put in a spool and upgraded axles and just change the rear end out for track days.

All F-150's from 1997 to present with the 4.2 V6 and 4.6 V8 used the 8.8 to the best of my knowledge. The 5.4's used a 9.75.
