Apologies if this is not in the right forum,I have a clicking sound in the right rear area of my 2001. It will do it when I accelerate hard in drive,then it will not do it again in drive no matter how many times I accelerate hard. If I put the truck in reverse it will make the same noise but will not repeat until i put the truck in drive. I've been underneath to check the u joints and they seem fine. It has 4 wheel disc and sometimes the parking brake light will be on the dash when I haven't had the parking brake on. Just trying to post all the symptoms the truck is exhibiting,this noise really has me scratching my head.

 

Probably a sticking parking brake.
