Rear yoke oil leak

Wow...was just under the truck and notice oil sling on the under body. Looks like it coming from the rear yoke area. Then running down the under side of the rear housing. Now that I noticed this ....I also see some small oil drop marks in the driveway. Must have just started this week.

What am I looking at for repairs? Is this prob just a seal thats out?

2nd...I have trip to make Saturday morning hauling 2 Hayabusa motorcycles in the bed of the truck to get to a ride event thats 2 hours way. THink the rear will be ok for this...then get it checked out and fixed? Need some quick advice. Thanks in advance.

Oh yea...truck is an 06 Fx4 with only 31K miles on it.

Check the fluid level in the diff and see how much needs to be added. If it isn't low that much, fill it and make your trip.
Some on this site has just removed the yoke nut, removed the seal, replaced the seal and new yoke nut and torqued it back down and it worked. Do a search because this has been discussed before many times.

Sometimes we just don't have time to fool with repairs we haven't done before. $166 does not hurt so bad. Congrats!
