I have a 06 F150 w/ the 5.4 V8 and it will not spin the tires. If you try to gun it, it just boggs down. Is there any way to delete this feature. I know on the Dodges you can unplug a wire to fool the computer - any such luck with the F150?

 

There is a dash button on my 06 for shutting off the traction control- when the ignition is turned off it is re-activated.

 

Yeah that's the problem - no traction control button, seems to be built into the programing or something. Any advice

 

What are the specs of the truck? The bogging down is the lame factory tune. Get a gryphon, that will light the tires up. I do mine all the time just because I can.
