steady leak
i just noticed a steady leak coming from my 94 f150 XLT. i think it's power steering fluid bec it's green (hope that's right). this has never happened before and when i got home i smelled a funny smell and steam was coming out of the hood. looked under the truck and there was a nice sized pool of liquid green on the ground. started her up and a steady stream of green poured out from the truck. i think i have it correctly located, but i am no mechanic and really don't want to put my truck back into the shop. any ideas or comments??!!! Thanks
green would indicate coolant. You might have a leak in the radiator or the water pump. Check your hoses and radiator first then look at the block to see if it is a head gasket.

The green color in combination with the steam and puddle on the ground at startup would indicate a coolant leak. More than likely you have a busted hose or a loose connection. Is there any noise at startup? I had a water pump go bad on my car once and it made a squealing noise and eventually busted the hoses. Whatever you do, do not drive it without coolant!

Wemjr's right!! Resist the temptation to drive it until you're sure you've got a full coolant system! Tow it if you have to, otherwise, you could freeze up the engine.
If you don't know what you're doing, pay the towing charges play it safe.
