Mag Hytec diff cover install question

So no response still through this new technology called email? Should have used the ancient old tried and true telephone. You'd have gotten a quicker response.

they responded basically never heard of the problem before.

Had the same problem with the M-H cover on the 10.25 under my F-150HD. Sliced off the bracket like the guy above did and remounted the evap parts securely. I thought it was just because mine is the oddball truck with the honkin' big axle. My cover is the same one the 10.50s in Super Dutys get. Sent M-H a note about it. No biggie to me. It's well worth a little trouble for me.

Did you ever have contact with the cover and the bracket?

I saw that it was too close on installation. I drove a coupla months, getting my ducks in a row, before I modified it. During that time, no, I did not have contact. The F-150HD (8200# GVW) sits a little higher than the other F-150s and I had more clearance that you did. Were I to have carried a load, it would likely have contacted the cover.
