Question Gear install

What are the negatives to installing just the rear sets of gears first, instead of both at the same time? I dont ever use my 4wd and the truck is staryting to feel like a slug. I got 35's on there now and was lookin at doing the 4.56's, or should i just get the 4.88's. Any info you guys can give me on just doing the rears for now would be great. Thanks

if you don't mind not having 4WD, there is nothing wrong w/ doing things this way.

You should get 5.13's. Do both or don't do it at all even though you "never" use 4wd you may have to one day.

I dont know where the 5.13's came from..but definetly go with the 4.56's unless you to ALOT, then consider the 4.88s. mine tows good with the 4.56's and i am happy with it. you can do just the rears now if you want and do the front later. There will be no problems except you absalutley cannot use 4wd until the front is done.

There are other stores that may offer a better price. But Jegs has everything bundled.

My truck has an 8.8. You might have a 9.75. Look under your truck.
